types of Jobs

No project too small or too big

Think of me (once more) as the shoe repair person. You have writing to fix, and I have a shop full of tools. Your written documents are always yours. I will alter them to work for you, not to fit me.

Job #1: Conference program

You're putting together the agenda for a major conference and have speaker bios of different lengths and formats. For the printed program, you need to get each bio under 60 words. If you want to cut a document down to size, you've come to the right place.

Job #2: Calendar of events

Twice a year, your college prints a booklet promoting campus cultural events to the public. Someone needs to email organizers, edit blurbs, and check facts. You could hire me for the entire job or for pieces of it, such as proofreading and applying AP style.

Job #3: Co-authored work

You and a colleague from another discipline want to compare mass media trends in three countries. Your manuscript uses previously published work. Do you need help striking a single tone of voice and sketching a main line of argument for the chapter or book?
